I don't't think carlos meant that is the only way Lesbians are "made." I think you all kind of picked up and ran with it. The fact is, is Carlos doesn't know why people are gay, and neither do you. He was expressing his opinion as are you by saying people are born that way. I know the friends that I have that are gay had a lot of issues. I think birth can be a factor but I also think there can be social causes as well. If you ask a gay person they usually respond by saying "why would I choose this?" But no matter how accepting we are these days I don't think people would ever say they chose to be gay even if they did. But I know my best friend came to me and said she's choosing to be with a woman because this woman treats her better than any man has and in her case it was choice. I think there are many factors and I don't think you should make a joke about Carlos' opinion because in the end (no pun intended) its only your opinion as well. Oh and the new girl is far better than the old one, just my opinion :)
