Well said!!!! Most especially when you brought attention to the fact that slavery, womens right to vote, medi-care & medi-cade were all met with the same opposistion. I embrace the change , along with all the "stumbles" it will involve along the way. Nothing of importance ever came to us on a silver platter, to move forward we must embrace and overcome the obstacles that will surely occur. After all isn't your neighbor, siste, brother, dear friend, or the stranger you passed in the street last week, isn't their life worth it? Because that is what this is about? It is for me, now at some point in the future, I can obtain health care, as of now I am unable to afford it nor is is there for me as I have a "pre-existing" condition. We can send millions to other coutries to save those in need, a commendable act to be sure. However, we have to pass a bill to save our own, and fight to pass it at that. Shame, shame, shame on us. Let us all remember this day in history, eventually and soon, we will ALL enjoy the "right" that quite clearly MANY take for granted;the right to be take care of our health, our bodies and our minds. Amen......
